Mom has told me her fair share of stories during her Ocean Park experience, with too much excitement, I'm telling you. She can be half-grown sometimes, you know. And because of her superogatory excitation, a high expectation of the place was built in my conciousness. Came January 15 when my father asked me to go with him and some of his friends. I was stirred up with the thought of it, maybe it is the "kid in me" springing.
We met up half past noon, and had a very quick lunch at KFC before heading out to Manila. When we got there, we were welcomed by a great deal of people. I'm guessing it's because of the long weekend, plus there were too many fieldtrips held. I got so annoyed; I'm an extrovert but I hated too much people, especially those I do not know. Coincidentally, an ABS-CBN event was being celebrated in the area, which intesified the amount of human beings present, and distressed me even more. Oh, what a joy I felt when finally, our tour started. We got to see aligators, all sorts of species found in the ocean, too many sharks, and a whole lot of jellyfish. I was perplex with everything I saw -- again, this is the "kid in me" talking. But growing up with a grandfather who was once a fishing company manager made me develop a fascination for everything under the ocean. I enjoyed everything on our trip, especially the last part. It is the same as what I experienced at Ocean Adventure; however, I really find sea lions cute so I only had "oohs" and "aahs" during the show.
It was a day well spent!! And final word: The marine life is such a beauty.. And thou, by all means, shall preserve it. Goodnight!
